The World Malaria Report, which is published annually by the WHO, aims to track progress in malaria elimination and control across the globe.
The report takes data from 91 malaria-endemic countries, in addition to other sources, and uses this to provide information on over 20 indicators of disease. The 2016 report, which was released in December, presents many positive trends in regions with high malaria burdens; however there is still more to be done.
