September 28th marks World Rabies Day, an annual event aiming to raise awareness and promote rabies prevention. This year, the theme is ‘Rabies: Zero by 30’ in support of the goal to ensure there are no human deaths from canine rabies by 2030, set by an alliance of key organizations in 2015.
In light of this we, at Infectious Diseases Hub, have produced an infographic displaying the key facts about the current rabies burden and summarizing the strategy aiming to ensure there are ‘Zero by 30’.
Do you think this goal can be achieved?
