Possible biomarker for early diagnosis of Ebola uncovered

A common immune response discovered in monkeys could act as a flag for early Ebola diagnosis, according to new research.

The study, which was led by a team at the Boston University School of Medicine (MA, USA) in collaboration with the United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Disease (USAMRIID; MD, USA), analyzed data from 12 monkeys infected with Ebola virus.
