ECCMID18: 7 days of antibiotics could be as good as 14 days for Gram-negative bacteremia

A 7-day course of antibiotic treatment for Gram-negative bacteremia (GNB) could offer similar patient outcomes compared with a 14-day course, according to new research presented at the 28th European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ECCMID; 21–24 April, Madrid, Spain).
